Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM in the Schaefer Center. When registering for Orientation, please note that the individual listed first on the registration form will be considered the primary registrant. At check-in, materials and name tags will be organized alphabetically by the primary registrant’s last name. Any additional guests included in the registration will be paired with the primary registrant and checked in together under that last name. 

One student meal and one guest meal are included in the Student Orientation Fee. All additional guests must purchase a meal ticket on the day of their orientation session. Due to spacing limitations, we ask each student to bring no more than two guests to Family Orientation. Please note: App State’s campus is cashless, so you must bring a card if you plan to purchase additional items. 

Boone's weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend bringing a heavy jacket to stay prepared for colder temperatures. App State’s beautiful campus is known for its steep hills, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothing to make exploring easier.

Please plan to be on campus around 8:30 am to check in and participate in on-campus sessions from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, with several breaks throughout the day.
