August 9, 2024 - Family Orientation

Join your student during orientation to experience college life at App State! Each session will include information on how to support your student’s success at Appalachian State University. Registration is required to attend. There is a 2-guest maximum.

This program is separate from Student Orientation but happens concurrently.

Please plan to be at the App State Hickory Campus around 8:30 am to check in and participate in on-campus sessions from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with several breaks throughout the day.

Contact the Office of Disability Resources if you need accommodations due to a disability during orientation. Please submit your request for accommodations at least two weeks prior to your event.
